On the occasion of the opening of the G7, nine leaders took a pose in Cornwall this Friday evening. They were welcomed by the British Sovereign.
Gathered for two days during the G7 summit in the UK, the nine leaders were welcomed by British Sovereign Elizabeth II and posed for the traditional “family photo”.
From left to right, in the photo are: German Chancellor Angela Merkel, European Commission President Ursula van der Leyen, French President Emmanuel Macron, Japanese Prime Minister Yoshihide Suka, Queen Elizabeth II of the United Kingdom, Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau, British Prime Minister Boris Johnson, Italian Prime Minister Joe Biden, President of the United States.
Govt-19, Climate …
Leaders of the G7 superpowers will meet in Cornwall until Sunday to talk about the devastating climate caused by the Govt-19 epidemic, the recovery of the world economy and the sharing of vaccines by rich countries.
The G7 is holding the presidency this year, according to the British government, with the major powers specifically declaring that they will “distribute and finance at least one billion doses of vaccine against the corona virus”.
This is the first face-to-face summit in nearly two years, especially marking the return of the United States to the international scene after years of isolation by Donald Trump.
