IN MEMORY
This page is dedicated to
my friend and friend of many,
BETTY Ann C. Stafford, Casson, BUSCH
1935 - 2010

by Bev Sexton, "We were best friends for about the past eight years."

Betty went on to meet her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on the morning of 23rd day of February, 2010. Her family was with her in Atlanta, Georgia.

Betty and her family friend Cheri Lewis moved to Golden Shores from Tacoma, Washington to escape the rain. Betty retired from San Bernardino Library.

Betty is survived by four children, four grandchildren and one great-grandson. Her mother was the first black lady in Washington to work in the welfare system. Her mother lived in three different centuries and died at age 102.

Betty was first married to a Methodist pastor. She divorced and then her second husband died.

Betty volunteered in Golden Shores, Arizona at the Golden Shores Civic Association, the Senior Nutrition, Friends of the Library, the Baptist Church and at Topock School. She was an avid reader and did some embroidery. She could also crochet.

We watched movies together, traveled together and laughed a lot together. Betty hated to clean house and pull weeds. So she would give piano lessons and barter to get those things done she hated to do.

We would have parties and dress up. She loved to go with her kids to see plays in New York. Her second grandaughter is an actress in New York. All of Betty's kids are highly educated. Her grandkids are working on getting highly qualified.

Betty was known as the piano lady because she was an accomplished pianist. She was known on the internet as the pielady.

I will miss her very much. Bev
