Over a million gallons of water wasted
More than a million gallons of water were lost in a water line break in Golden Valley last week. Mohave County Public Works Director Steve Latoski estimates about 1.2 million gallons of water leaked between 11:15 a.m. December 17 and 12:45 p.m. December 18.
The water line was a 6 inch ductile iron pipe serving a now inactive well and connected to a water main on Chino Road. The broken section has not yet been unearthed to determine the nature of the break. Latoski said county staff expended about 32 hours of overtime in the response and repair effort. A construction company assisted the effort and delivered an invoice for $2,184. Call or email us today and let GSX help your business to grow. Email: Click Here Phone: (928) 768-1400
