Shop Locally for See’s Candy
The Soroptimist International of Bullhead City/Laughlin, Inc. is offering See’s
Candy through December 23. The storefront location is Colorado Place, 2580 Hwy 95, Suite 101, (across from
Smart & Final). Store hours are Tuesdays through Fridays, 10 am to 6 pm, Saturdays 10 am to 4 pm. There
is a wide variety of See’s products, including a very limited supply of See’s sugar-free chocolates.
Soroptimist International is a community service organization who work to improve the lives of women
and girls, in local communities and throughout the world. Almost 95,000 Soroptimists in 120 countries and
territories contribute time, energy and financial support to community-based and international projects that
benefit women and girls.
All proceeds from See’s candy sales will fund, local, worthwhile projects the Soroptimists of Bullhead City/Laughlin Club sponsors; S~Teen, a nine month educational program for middle school girls, the Violet Richardson Award, rewarding girls 14-17 for their community service, the Women’s Opportunity Award, helping a woman head-of household advance her education. Other organizations also benefit, including many WestCare AZ programs, Girl Scouts, Colorado River Concert Association, Colorado Women’s Council Leadership, Teen Maze, and more.
