Extreme DUI
Mohave County Sheriff’s deputies arrested Stephanie Noel Dennis, 24,
of Fort Mohave, early Thursday evening 11/26 for DUI, DUI with a blood
alcohol concentration over .08%, extreme DUI with a blood alcohol
concentration over .15% and extreme DUI with a blood alcohol
concentration over .20%, misdemeanors. At around 6:30 p.m.,
deputies conducted a traffic stop in the 5500 block of Mountain View
Road and contacted Dennis, the driver and smelled an odor of alcohol. Dennis admitted to
have been drinking throughout the day. Dennis refused to perform the
field sobriety tests (FST’s) as requested by deputies. She was
taken into custody and transported to the Mohave County District II
Substation where an analysis revealed her blood alcohol concentration
(BAC) to be .256%. She was booked into the jail without incident. The
vehicle was towed from the scene.
