Sex offense with 14-year-old girl, burglary, trespassing
Mohave County Sheriff’s deputies arrested Jacob Austin Gift, 18, of Fort Mohave, Tuesday morning for sexual conduct with a minor, burglary and trespassing, felonies.
At about 6:15 a.m., deputies responded to a disturbance at a residence in the 4400 block of S Calle Agrada Drive and contacted the reporting party (RP). The RP advised that she has told Gift multiple times to not come to the house. She said that she found Gift lying in bed with her 14-year-old daughter this morning. Deputies contacted Gift and detained him. Investigations determined that Gift has been having sexual relations with the minor. Gift was transported and booked into the Mohave County District II Substation without incident.
