Deputies arrest man who threatened to kill nephew
Mohave County Sheriff’s deputies arrested Jose Luis Renteria, 38, of Mohave Valley, early Wednesday evening for threatening per domestic violence, misdemeanor.
At about 6:20 p.m., deputies responded to an incident in the 2500 block of Spirit Mountain Drive. Deputies contacted the Fort Mohave Tribal Officer who reported that an incident occurred earlier in the 10500 block of Zink Lane. Deputies contacted Renteria’s sister and she reported that Renteria threatened harm to her 11-year-old son. The boy told deputies that Renteria, his uncle, threatened to kill him after Renteria accused him of vandalism. Deputies contacted Renteria and took him into custody without incident. He was transported and booked into the Mohave County District II Substation.
