Deputies arrest ex-husband for aggravated harassment
Mohave County Sheriff’s deputies arrested Fred J. Newcomm, 51, of Kingman, late Tuesday morning for aggravated harassment, felony.
At about 9:30 a.m., deputies responded to a contempt of court at a residence in the 4500 block of Calle Del Media. Upon arrival, deputies contacted the reporting party, a female victim, age 51. The victim reported that she has an order of protection against Newcomm, her ex-husband. She also said that Newcomm has sent her two text messages via her cellular phone. Deputies confirmed the order of protection to be valid. Deputies verified the communications via the cellular phone. Deputies contacted Newcomm at a residence in the 1600 block of Joy Lane. During conversations with Newcomm, he was aware of the order of protection. Newcomm was taken into custody without incident. He was transported and booked into the Mohave County District II Substation.
