Facebook temporarily shuts down when viral video hit Tuesday evening
On Tuesday evening, suddenly our Instant Messenger lit up with dozens of posts from friends and from the GSX News account about "Why are you in this video? Is this dancing or what? lol It looks embarrassing."
Our first thoughts were VIRUS ATTACK. We went to Facebook to see what was happening. After logging in to Facebook, an Adobe update began installing. That took about ten minutes. No video ever came up, but there were hundreds of posts from us and all our friends. Then Facebook shut down. Only a message on the screen that said, "Content not found. This content is currently unavailable." Facebook came back online about an hour later. We have no idea why or what happened. We'll be happy to update this page if someone finds out and wants to let us know.
