Transient arrested for indecent exposure
Mohave County Sheriff’s deputies arrested Thomas Leatherwood, 67, a transient, Thursday afternoon.
At about 3:30 p.m., deputies responded to a complaint of intoxicated subjects causing a disturbance at Davis Camp. Deputies received information that one of the subjects, later identified as Leatherwood, had defecated on a tree at a campsite and exposed himself to another resident of Davis Camp. Leatherwood was contacted and it was found that he had a felony warrant for failure to register as a sex offender issued by the U.S. Marshall’s Service. Leatherwood was transported to the Mohave County District II substation and booked into jail.
