K-9 locates drug residue in vehicle after traffic stop
Mohave County Sheriff’s deputies arrested Robert Allan Crocker, 56, of Northridge, CA, Sunday evening for possession of drug paraphernalia, felony.
At about 9:00 p.m. deputies conducted a traffic stop in the area of Highway 95 and Fairway Village and contacted the driver. As deputies were speaking with the driver, they observed the passenger to be extremely nervous. Deputies requested the passenger's identification. The passenger, later identified as Crocker, said his identification was in the back seat in his bag. As Crocker was retrieving his identification, deputies observed Crocker pull something out of his wallet and place clothing over the item. Deputies had a K-9 Handler respond. The K-9 conducted a search of the vehicle and alerted his handler to drugs. Deputies were advised by Crocker that he placed a meth pipe inside a bag of food. Deputies located the glass pipe with residue. Crocker was taken into custody without incident. He was transported and booked into the Mohave County District II Substation.
