2.08 Bullhead City - Seven arrested, dangerous drugs, meth, marijuana, white powder, sale, warrants, more

On Tuesday at about 5:30 a.m., detectives from MAGNET (Mohave Area General Narcotics Enforcement Team), with assistance from the Bullhead City and Lake Havasu City Police Department’s SWAT teams, executed simultaneous search warrants into two homes, both located in the 1900 block of Sea Breeze Lane in Bullhead City.

Six people were arrested at one home where resident Frank Alcala, 45, was suspected of dealing drugs. When the SWAT team entered the residence, Alcala and John Lennon Mitchell, 43, were smoking methamphetamine.

In Alcala's bedroom, detectives located a baggie containing approximately four grams of methamphetamine, a digital scale with white powder residue, empty baggies with residue and glass methamphetamine pipes. Alcala was arrested for possession of dangerous drugs, possession of dangerous drugs for sale, possession of drug paraphernalia and two outstanding misdemeanor warrants. Mitchell was arrested for possession of dangerous drugs and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Teresa Ann Mastin, 43, was arrested for possession of dangerous drugs, possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of marijuana. Inside her purse, officers found a small baggie containing meth and a small baggie containing marijuana.

Daymond Lee Hill, 49, Crystal Lynn Vandagriff, 30, and Frederick Victor Nichols, 61, were all arrested for possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia after marijuana was located in their rooms.

An associate of Alcala, Ricardo Santos Segura, 37, was arrested at the other home. During the second search warrant, officers located a usable amount of methamphetamine and several drug paraphernalia items; including a spoon with meth residue, syringes, and a marijuana pipe. Segura was arrested for possession of dangerous drugs, possession of drug paraphernalia and an outstanding felony warrant out of California.

Segura, Mitchell, Alcala and Mastin were held for court. Hill, Vandagriff and Nichols were booked and released.
