School teacher arrested, 5 counts touching girls
Mohave County Sheriff’s detectives arrested William Temple Cole, 70, of Fort Mohave, on Friday 1/8 on five counts of aggravated assault on a child, felonies.
Investigations began in November when school officials reported that Cole, a school teacher, may be inappropriately touching female students. Further investigations determined that Cole would touch the female’s backs while they would ask him questions during class. Five female victims were identified; four are 10 years old while the fifth is 11 years old. At about 1:00 p.m. on Friday, Cole came into the Mohave County District II Substation where he was interviewed and later taken into custody. Cole was booked into the jail without incident.
