2 arrested for possession of marijuana
Mohave County Sheriff’s deputies arrested Ivan Philip Sauceman, 17, and Gunner Eric Dennis, 18, both of Fort Mohave, Wednesday, 1/13. Sauceman was arrested for possession of marijuana for sale, felony. Dennis was arrested for possession of marijuana, felony.
Deputies observed two occupants sitting in a parked vehicle in the area of E Joy Lane and Ashley Road. As deputies approached the vehicle, they smelled an odor of marijuana. At about 9:00 p.m., deputies contacted Sauceman, the driver, and Dennis, the passenger. Deputies got consent to search the vehicle which revealed 19 grams of marijuana and a digital scale. Deputies found Dennis to be in possession of marijuana. Sauceman and Dennis were taken into custody without incident. Dennis was transported and booked into the Mohave County District II Substation. Sauceman was transported and booked into the Mohave County Juvenile Detention Center. The vehicle was towed from the scene.
